Hello again, the harvest is complete. It was a fabulous year with everything having very good crops. We would like to thank everyone for coming out this year, it was great. Our apples and pears are chilling and the cooler. We are still open 7 days a week same hours as before but on Sundays we will be opening at 12:30. Our apple varieties include Honey Crisp, Royal Gala, Fugi, Red and Golden delicious, Mutsu, Ida Red and Granny Smith. Our pears include the Bosc and Harrow Sweet. We also have 4 different types of squash, Apple Cider, Apricot and Peach Jam and Red Pepper Jelly.

Italian and Stanley Prune Plums are ready Now! This will be the last weekend for Freestone Peaches. Honey Crisp, Royal Gala Apples and Apple Cider are ready, Harrow Sweet Pears, Nectarines, Roma Tomatoes, Field Tomatoes, Red and Green Bell Peppers, Hungarian Stuffing Peppers, Hot Peppers, Shepherd Peppers, Squash, Pumpkins and Eggplant.

Apple Time
Royal Gala Apples will be starting this weekend. Our Squash will also be ready this weekend and we have 4 different kinds, Acorn, Butternut, Speghetti, and Buttercup. Our Peaches will only last for about 2 more weeks. Romas by the hamper, Peppers Red and Green Bell, Shepherds, Yellow Hungarian Stuffers, Hot Banana, and Jalepenos, Blue Plums, Nectarines, Peach and Apricot Jam.

This weekend we will have the Sweet Violet Blue Plums which are great eating plums. Those looking for the Italian and Stanley Prune Plums will have to wait a little longer, keep checking for more info. Harrow Fair Peaches and Bablygold Peaches are ready for all your canning and eating needs. Nectarines, Pears, Eggplant, Roma Tomatoes, Field Tomatoes, Sweet Green Bell Peppers, Yellow Hungarian Stuffing Peppers, Muskmelon and Watermelon. Red Shepherd and Bell Peppers will also be starting this weekend.
Pick your own will be starting in about 3 weeks so keep checking for more info in weeks to come.

Scherer Orchards
Hello again! Things are warming up on the farm, and everything is ripening beautifully. Redhaven Peaches are starting this weekend, Peppers(Hungarian Stuffers, and Green Bells), Field Tomatoes, Shiro Plums, Harrow Delight Pears but at the same time we will be finished with the Apricots by the end of the weekend so hurry in.
Roma Tomatoes will be starting next weekend and don't forget about our Apricot Jam, it has been selling like crazy and we should have a new batch in soon.

Peaches, Apricots, Zucchini and Green Peppers are ready now! Green Peppers will be hit and miss the first little bit as they take a little bit of time to really get going if you need them feel free to call the farm.
Field Tomatoes are just around the corner hopefully by the end of this week. There are lots of tomatoes on the plants it should be a great crop.
Attention Canners, Freezers, Sauce and Paste makers! Roma Tomatoes, Freestone Peaches and Red Peppers are a few weeks away but by mid-august end of september are the time when you should plan to get everything ready to get cooking.

Scherer Orchards
Peaches and Apricots are on now! Harrow Diamonds are ready and taste great! Garnett Beauty and Redhaven are to follow in the next few weeks. Everything on the farm is about 2 weeks behind as you probably know.
